Vacation to Branson

We love going to Branson to vacay!  So much to do for everyone.  The highlight for the kiddos is surprisingly the condo that we stay in every year we go.  We stay at Village Point…they love the pool and hot tub.  This vacation we met Jim and Marilyn to go to Silver Dollar City together.  It was a blast…everyone had a great time! We even got to see Aunt Sarah, Parker,  Carson, and Claire. 

Mother’s Day

For Mother’s Day me and my sweet family had a full day of fun.  This year I wanted to make sure that I remembered and honored my own mom and so we included decorating her grave as a part of our day.  To make this happen we packed a lunch and headed to Madison County where she is buried.  We cleaned and put flowers on her grave and then headed to the white river for a picnic lunch.  I really enjoy being out like this…guess I am a country girl at heart.  We ate PB&J sandwiches, chips, fruit and Skittles.   Had so much fun throwing rocks in the water and wading a bit.  Afterwards we headed home for a nap and then to one of my favorite restaurants…Monte Ne Inn Chicken.  I felt extra loved!  

Ian’s and Preston’s baby shower

 

My sweet Mom’s group friends threw Sarah Pennington and I a shower for our upcoming little ones.  Her little guy’s name is Ian.  We had so much fun and were so blessed by their thoughtfulness.  The kids enjoyed it too!  The diaper cakes were precious…I have kept mine.
